How to use the device safely

PARTS OF THE DEVICE

MAIN CARABINER
Use this side to clip onto a climbing harness, purse, backpack, or other piece of clothing. Do not clip it onto body parts!

STRONG RETRACTION SPRING
Inside Catchie, there is a steel spring that provides pull force on the specially coated steel wire.

SMALL CARABINER
Use this carabiner to clip your phone (via the phone tab) or other equipment such as a camera, keys, boarding pass card, etc.

2x Phone tab (White and Black) and Keyring are included in the packaging.

HOW TO INSTALL THE PHONE TAB

STEP 1
Remove the bottom side of the phone from the flexible case and insert the phone tab below it so that D-ring protrudes from the charging hole.

STEP 2
Reinstall the phone back into your flexible case and pull the tab all the way out. Test the strength of the D-ring with your hand.

STEP 3
Connect Catchie to the D-ring using the smaller carabiner. You can quickly attach and detach the phone with this carabiner.

HOW TO INSTALL THE PHONE TAB

STEP 1
Remove the bottom side of the phone from the flexible case and insert the phone tab below it so that D-ring protrudes from the charging hole.

STEP 2
Reinstall the phone back into your flexible case and pull the tab all the way out. Test the strength of the D-ring with your hand.

STEP 3
Connect Catchie to the D-ring using the smaller carabiner. You can quickly attach and detach the phone with this carabiner.

WARNING

  • Do not clip any part of Catchie to any part of your body or body accessories.
  • Do not tangle the wire rope around any part of your body.
  • This device is not a toy! Keep away from children.
  • Always retract slowly to prevent damage of the device and potential dangers due to the fast uncontrolled retraction of the wire.
  • Catchie will enhance the protection of your phone/equipment, but it does not guarantee against loss, damage, or injury.
  • Before use check for correct clipping and connection.
  • Always test the device prior use.
